COSY CAFE IN FISHGUARD
The Red Onion Garden Café is a new family run cafe in Fishguard. We offer real coffee just how you like it, a wide variety of teas, delicious homemade cakes, lunches and snacks from fresh locally sourced produce.
Food is our passion. As is good service. We love to see our customers with a smile. And as we’ve worked in hospitality at all levels, from 5 star restaurants to vegan street food stalls, we really know our onions. We want to give locals and tourists alike seriously tasty yet affordable treats.
CAKE FOR ALL. SOMETHING FOR EVERYONE
While many of our customers are proud omnivores- this is a farming community after all, we understand meat and animal derived produce is not for everyone. The menus we create reflect this but will have plenty of plant-based choices too. We will also do our best to cater for allergies, regularly having gluten-free options available. At the Red Onion Cafe all can indulge. Our cakes are devilishly delicious, and baked here at the cafe to our own recipes.
FRESH, LOCAL & DELICIOUS
We have travelled widely and learnt recipes from the best. While some of our recipes are passed down from our Nan, some have been borrowed from 5 star chefs. Others are our own inventions, with a contemporary little twist. Our ethos is to use local and think seasonal, so our ingredients are always fresh and organic where possible. As well as making the most from our home grown organic fruit and veg. While we have a few staples that our regulars just won’t live without, our menu changes frequently with original and creative recipes from seasonal produce.
QUALITY COFFEE
Freshly ground and packed with aroma, we just love a damn good cup of coffee. And we know everyone else does too- in their own special way. Whether you are a caffeine purist after a thick Espresso, or after a Latte with flavoured syrup- we’ve got your back. We offer the full range of Italian style coffees - or just a classic coffee if you prefer. We’ve a full range of dairy and non-dairy milk options.
